Hey Hey HEEEEYYYY guys 👋 I know usually one ‘hey’ is enough, but when you’ve been gone for nearly 2 months 🗓 it just requires some more, so first of let me start by saying HAPPY NEW YEAR 🎉 (am I a bit late? 🤔) If you follow me on the social medias, which I mean you totally should be 😉 then you’ll know exactly what I’ve been up to since December, so just incase you’re not already here’s a link to my Twitter , Instagram & Pinterest  btw if you haven’t read the last thing I posted before my hiatus you can do so here – its about an ALL-NATURAL chewing gum 🙌

What have I been doing?

Well, where do I start? The holidays in general are just such a busy time, with the kids off from school (in my case my nephew 👦), the shopping madness that happens this time of the year 🛍 & overseas family members visiting. I feel like the December-January period is just such a cosy time of the year BUT other than that I undertook a massive DIY project. I basically spent all of December moving (not house, but moving rooms 😅) & not just accessorising… I mean full on doing a room makeover like ripping up carpet & putting flooring in. Since I am the strong independent woman I claim to be 😂 I was determined to lead this makeover & just sort everything out myself (obviously getting the qualified professionals in when needed).

JUST LOOK AT THIS 😍 this is a before & after of the SAME wall 😮 I didnt know what side of the room to show you guys first but if you follow my insta you’ve probably seen more angles of the room *hint hint you should totally follow my insta 😝* Over the next couple weeks I’ll be posting my entire DIY journey for you guys so stay tuned! 🔨

New Year, New you?

Lastly, I just wanna take some time to talk to you guys about the whole pressure to suddenly become an entirely new person for the New Year 🙄. I feel like its so important to realise that change takes time ⏳, effort & a true desire from your inner-self to change. By this I mean changing small habits in your lifestyle to overall become the best person you feel like you want to be/should be. I don’t mean changing your entire person cause truly everyone has a beauty & light within them ✨ which they often just need to realise/be shown. I have some personal changes that I’m gonna be working on this year 💪 & I feel like thats a whole other post.

    1. Oh my gosh EXACTLY! I can sort of understand the way some people prefer to start exercising on a monday, or start their diet on a monday etc. but personally what I think is you should implement changes into your life when you think of them i.e if you think you need to stop eating sweets, then use that moment to stop eating sweets? why eat sweets for 4 more days till its the start of a week lol 😅 thanks for reading! xx
