Hey everyone 👋 I’m back again but this time with a review & I’ve only just realised that I’ve actually not done a makeup review since April last year 🗓 which was a review on my favourite mascara at the time. Thats a long time for a beauty blogger not to do a review isn’t it? 🙈 of course I’ve spoken about my favourite makeup brushes & my quick & easy makeup routine but I’m talking about a full on review of a product 😅. So lets get started 👇
What it is
For those of you who may not have seen or heard about this kit before its a powder contour kit, which as you can see in the picture 👆 consists of 4 pans, a cool-tone brown perfect for contouring, a warm-tone brown perfect for bronzing, a light shade for highlighting & a shimmery highlighter. Before picking up this kit in Sephora I had never ever ever EVER 🙅 used powders to contour before & I wasn’t planning to buy this one either but when I saw it I just fell in LOVE …btw if you wanna see the other things I picked up in Sephora click here (p.s here’s a sneak peek to tempt you 👀)
If you’re a choc-o-holic then you’re gonna ABSOLUTELY love this kit as it actually smells like chocolate. As soon as you open it you can just immediately smell the good good 😏 & it definitely lifts my mood (is that sad? 😆) The warm-tone brown is definitely my favourite pan in the entire kit & if they sold it separately (I mean they might do but I’ve never checked 😅) I would deffo buy it instead of buying the entire kit… hmm 🤔 well tbh I’d buy the cool-tone brown as well cause it is a really good shade for the forehead & jawline.
The warm-tone brown is a perfect shade to sweep over the cheekbone contour, it just gives such a sun kissed glow that isn’t orange 👌 & just perfectly blends into the contour. This shade reminds me a lot of my Hoola Bronzer which you can read my review on here, but even though the Hoola is a cooler-toned brown than this warm-tone brown its not as cool as the cool-tone brown in this kit (yes I did give myself a mind-twist whilst typing this out 😓) but does that make sense? so even though you can’t really choose between buying this kit or the Hoola Bronzer I’ve found myself not really missing the Hoola 🙊.
This kit is amazing for taking with you on the go, I mean its got a light highlight shade which tbh can also be used as your under-eye highlight so you don’t need to carry an extra one. I also loving using the cool-tone brown in my crease & the warm-tone brown to smoke up my lower-lash line, issa vibe guys 💁. The shimmery highlighter can be used on the inner-corner of the yes for a perfect pop of brightness.
For those who may not be familiar with Too Faced they are such an amazing, higher-end brand (in my eyes) 🤑 , whose packaging is always on point. Many of their palettes have become a cult favourite for a lot of reasons, this kit is a favourite of mine as a) you get so much product for the price you pay 💰 b) the quality of the product is amazing c) its incredibly long wearing (for a powder) 🙌 it definitely doesn’t just disappear of your face on a windy day d) IT SMELLS LIKE CHOCOLATE & e) the shades are perfect I feel like they cater to everyone by including cool & warm tones.
The packaging is really sturdy, as you can see some of mine has rubbed off in places, this is cause I used a antibacterial wipe on it 😂 (I DONT RECOMMEND DOING THAT) but if you know me then you know I love a good antibacterial wipe. I love the size of the mirror, its big enough to see everything nice & clear but still not too big to make it hard to travel with 👌. Ive had this kit for over a year now & I don’t feel like I’m gonna hit pan anytime soon!
